New Frist Art Museum exhibit recounts devastation, Nashville's resilience after 2010 flood
On the weekend of May 1-2, 2010, more than 13 inches of rain fell, destroying thousands of homes and businesses and upending lives.
But the story of Nashville's flood is also one of volunteerism and resilience, neighbors helping neighbors.
The Frist Art Museum will tell that story in a new exhibit, "The Nashville Flood: Ten Years Later"
