Neglected Beauty

Yesterday I saw potential. Amid the pungent odor, a pile of wigs, rugs, clothes and baby dolls greeting us at the door (which my client unwaveringly crunched through), the tall ceilings trumped the trash. The original tile work and wood mantle surrounding the fireplace stood intact. Unafraid of things which could crawl up his pants leg or of falling through the floor, my client carried on with vision of expanded floor plan. I could see it. Even the traffic cone halfway submerged in water in the basement didn't deter him, he already knew the solution. I hope his vision comes to fruition and this neglected beauty gets restored to her 1925 days of glory.
